Now, put any named AV competitor into google, see what appears. Try putting Cylance into google, look at what is on page 1, investment rounds, their own marketing channels and the like. On the flip side, 'Symantec Matt' is now 'Cylance Matt' - So as one of the green guys who built up a very positive reputation, if he now works for them, what does that say about the company? I could be completely wrong with the above. I just get the impression that they want the suits in the organisation, they want to wine & dine the VPs, the execs, take them out on treats, then sign a nice agreement with them, is that true? Probably not but it's the message I am seeing.
Their.sales manner comes across as 'Our product is marvellous mortal!!! Buyyyyy from ussss' $$$$$$ They are very venture capitalist heavy, which worries me, googling Cylance shows so many investment rounds and millions being poured into them. Cylance have a minimum order of X devices, if it's a great product, why do you need minimums, what's hidden behind the sales conversations? Why is the product not out in the open for all to use? Is it complicated? Hard to use? Difficult to manage?
